{Joelle & Brady's Wedding Day}

Joelle & Brady's Wedding day was absolutely stunning.  Despite the not-so-great weather we have been having in Orillia this Spring, Joelle and Brady were blessed with clear skies and warm weather for their mid-June wedding day!   We took advantage of the great weather and found some gorgeous portrait spots (check out those laneway photos at the end of the blog post - my FAVES!!)

Anyway, enough about the weather, let me tell you about this awesome couple!!  Brady and Joelle are two young university sweethearts.  Seeing them together brought back so many memories of when Curtis and I met, dated, and got engaged in university. It really does feel like yesterday.

I have the privilege of spending a lot of time with the bride on her wedding day and the thing that stood out to me during my time with Joelle is how much she valued her friendships with the girls in her wedding party.  It was evident that she spent a lot of time with her sister and cousins over the years and have been blessed with deep friendships.  It was really beautiful to see.  In a technology-filled, social media-saturated world true friendships are becoming rare.  It is one of the things that I pray for regularly for my own children.

Joelle and Brady, it was wonderful to be a part of your big day.  We pray God's richest blessings over you both as you begin your new life together!  May you always put Christ first, each other second, and yourself last.  May your marriage ever be a picture of Christ's never-ending, all-consuming, selfless love for us, His bride.  Congratulations, guys!!

"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labour:
If either of them falls down, one can help the other up.
But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.
Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone?
Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken."
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
